Orange you glad you graduated???

Tommy graduated May 9 from Syracuse University with a Master's Degree in Social Studies - yeah!! Looks like he's known for a long time that's where he wanted to go to school! The first picture was taken in 1990 and the second picture was taken in 1987. Congratulations, T Bids!

Tommy just spent 4 days here in FL to go tarpon fishing, to go to the beach, to see a Rays game, and to play Scrabble with Mom, of course!! Click on "tarpon fishing" to see "The One That Got Away!" And here's a picture of Tommy at the game this past Sunday with his friend, Frank. This was the game where Coach Maddon made a mistake on the lineup card and the pitcher, Andy Sonnanstine, ending up batting - it was wild. According to the Tampa Tribune, "the last time a pitcher was in the lineup of an AL home game was Sept 23, 1976, when Ken Brett hit eighth for the White Sox against the Twins. To add another perspective, Sonnanstine was "the first AL pitcher to be in a starting lineup since Ford was president." And it was reported that he hit better than he pitched that day since Sonnanstine hit an RBI double in a five-run Rays fourth.
Maddon later quipped, "All the other pitchers want to start paying us off now to make the same mistake so they can hit also."
